“Their connection in performance is second to none.”

The enchanting combination of flute and harp unites two of Australia's vibrant young soloists, flutist Jonathan Henderson and harpist Emily Granger. Former principal flute of the Estonian National Opera, Jonathan Henderson is the newly appointed flutist of the Southern Cross Soloists, and Emily Granger is harpist with Omega Ensemble, Hourglass Ensemble and a founding member of the Chicago Harp Quartet. Despite a relatively short playing history, the duo have quickly earned a reputation for their kindred artistic partnership and charismatic musical chemistry. After their debut performing the world premiere of a new work written for the duo by Australian composer Tristan Coelho to sold out audiences at the 2019 Craven Creek Music Festival in Gloucester NSW, further engagements have included a residency at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney and a national recital tour of Queensland & New South Wales in 2020.

“Stunningly poised music-making from both players”
